Things I have built to solve a problem or to learn something I could not leave alone.

A personal site that stays out of the way of the writing.

This site. A markdown blog with a WebGPU T on the homepage, content in the repo, and Convex for live reactions.

  • SkyDunes

    Active

Building AI-native applications without the usual glue and ceremony.

SkyDunes is the software company I founded in December 2025. We build AI-native products — agents, workflows, evals, and the interfaces around them.

  • Trip Timelines

    Active

Group trips die in the group chat. Ideas, votes, and the actual plan never live in one place.

Plan a trip with friends. An organiser creates a trip and shares a link. Friends join with a display name — no account required — then add ideas, vote, comment, and build a dated itinerary together.

Live updates, guest sessions, and an AI scheduling assistant sit on Convex. The organiser keeps the invite link; everyone else just needs the URL.

  • What To Get Me

    Active

Gift giving turns into duplicate presents, endless group chats, and guessing for people who are hard to buy for.

A gift-list and coordination product for families and friend groups. People curate items, share lists, suggest ideas, and claim gifts so nothing gets bought twice. AI helps brainstorm when a list is stuck.

Web and mobile share a Convex backend.

  • Local Community Hub

    In development

Local groups need one place for events, information, and help — not another scattered Facebook thread.

A community management platform for local groups. Communities get events, venues, an information hub, and an AI assistant for day-to-day questions, with Clerk auth and Stripe for setup and AI credits.

Still in development. The admin side can import and export communities, watch platform health, and move data between environments.

  • ExplainBack

    Scaling back

Revision apps warehouse content. Understanding sticks when you have to explain it.

A GCSE revision app built around teaching, not quizzes. In Teach Mode the student explains a topic out loud to a curious listener. In Learn Mode the AI coaches the parts that did not hold up. Each session ends with coaching-style feedback and one next practice step.

Currently scaling back. The product still runs, with learner, guardian, and organisation paths on WorkOS and Polar.

  • ScratchLists

    Scaling back

Collectors need a place to track lists, reveal new picks, and swap what they have finished — without becoming another Goodreads.

Scratch to reveal, track progress, and swap finished books, films, games, and the rest. The original idea depended on editorial taste and curated lists; later work leaned into second-hand swaps and social features.

Currently scaling back. It did not find enough paying users against free competitors, and agents could not replace the human curator the first version needed.
